First underground Sewage Treatment Plant Designed and Installed, in the Philippines; This project of Ecosystem would revolutionize urban development and construction within 10 years
2002
First non-potable reuse of Recycled Water from Sewage Treatment Plant: De La Salle University Manila irrigated their football field and parade grounds using effluent from one of their three STPs designed and installed by Eco-System.
2007
First 100 projects completed. Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) and underground installations for Sewage Treatment Plants become sought after, and become the primary specification of architects and developers in the Philippines.
2008
Most Inspiring Biotechnology Entrepreneur
A unique award for So’s unique contributions to the business of Biotechnology in the Philippines, presented by the premier organization supportive of entrepreneurship in the Philippines. So bootstrapped Ecosystem without external financing, and brought it to profitability trusting only in the truthfulness of his technology and through the collective hard work of his people.
2009
Ecosystem met rigorous international standards when it won and completed both the Membrane Bio Reactor Plant for a transnational Nutrition company, and then the Water Recovery Facility for a LEED Gold Certified foreign embassy complex; both firsts for a Filipino Environmental Technology Company.
2015
Ecosystem won its first ISO 9001 certification, proving its quality management practices are at an international standard, after a series of rigorous external audits.
Later that year, So’s company won the Technology Company of the Year award from the Asia CEO Awards Philippines, presented by PLDT Alpha Enterprise, besting transnational organizations such as Accenture and Tata Consulting.
2016
RYS was elected President of the Rotary Club of Makati South for Year 2017 – 2018.
2017
RYS was a recepient of the INTERNATIONAL PAUL HARRIS AWARD.
2018
RYS was given the ROTATY LEADERSHIP AWARD and has won many recognitions and award for RCMS during his term as Club President and was one of the recepients of the Ten Outstanding Movers in the Philippines Award.
Over 650 completed projects and counting, Ecosystem wins its second ISO 9001 certification, this time for the updated series of 2015, after a renewed and more stringent series of external audits. This keeps the promise of Ecosystem Technologies International as a world class organization fulfilled.
